Why Scotland?
A lot of people asked us why we chose Scotland for our honeymoon. It's true that Scotland is not especially warm, that neither of our families come from Scotland, and, really, that we didn't know much about the place.
For us, the perfect vacation includes a lot of exploring, a fair amount of drinking, and many kinds of transportation. So, that's what we did.
Edinburgh is exactly as I'd pictured it. Beautiful old things peeking in and out of fog. Pub food and whiskey everything. Twee coffee shops. Omnipresent Wi-Fi. We loved it.
